So I've been thinking about writing some notes about the history that I've experienced. Something akin to a diary but with a set time to keep going back to, as opposed to a daily check in kind of thing. I'm going to jot down some random thoughts so bear with me. This is eesentially my soul trapped in writing so treat it kindly. ^.^

So I used to live in Texas. I grew up there and I made a lot of friends and unfortunately, enemies. It really sucks. Most of the people who were my closest friends and allies are now my most virulent protesters. I love going back and visiting. Heck! I'm going again to visit soon. There's a festival there called Fiesta, it's a good time. That's something else I'd like to document here.

I started playing guitar when I was 15 years old. My mom managed to get me some data entry menial task with her company and they were kind enough to oblige. I worked long and hard and I finally got a $100 peavy. I actually remember being short like $20 for tax and (my grandma maybe?) covered it for me. She was a badass, she would always do stuff like that and not trip too hard. (Actually she was a bit harsher when we were all younger and then all of the sudden she became really cool with helping me out and not guilt tripping me about it. Another thing for another history link I guess).

I went to a pretty cool high school that had an arts magnet. I was an Instrumental Music major during my junior and senior year. It was a really good experience for a little guy like me. My concentration was guitar

The year was 2008 and Tpain dropped the song Can't Believe It on the radio. I remember working with Victor and JQ a lot. I was a valet driver at Hotel Contessa in San Antonio. It was quite a time to be alive. It felt like some great gatsby type shit for real. There were so many rich people dropping big tips. The manager of that place, Chris, hated my ass so much. He used to call me little hamster and Blackie... lol. That job was the tits though. I got to drive a lot of expensive, high end cars. I really started to understand that each manufacturer has different handling and different everything really. Before that I was just a lil kid who just saw cars as cars. I worked there with a bunch of interesting "foos". I'll get more into everything later I guess. I'm just chipping away at this catalogue. It was pretty interesting living on my own. It was the first time really. I had an apartment with a friend of mine. It seemed more like a friendship out of necessity, when I offered the guy half of $400 to share his 1 bedroom he couldn't turn that shit down. We had a lot of fun that summer. We partied and made a lot of new friends. I tried LSD for the first time in that apartment. It was a literal trip.

I have a memory of my co-workers, JQ and Victor shouting and chanting "Oh nine! Oh nine! Oh nine!". We were working 5pm-1am or 4p-12a or something like that. Our boss hated us so he made us work through NYE. It was pretty despicable but I ended up kind of enjoying it. It was a unique experience to be able to be downtown while "the ball dropped". Cars were honking in standstill traffic. There was music blasting from all the cars. Fireworks were going off above us. I remember trying to call everyone on my cell to wish them a happy new year and the phone was giving busy tones and even at one point I thought I heard a message saying that Cell Service is limited because everyone is using it. That was the only time I ever had anything like that happen. I guess they didn't have as many cell towers or satellites back then. *shrug*
